Xiongnu Cavalry
Those from beyond our borders may seem strange, but if they fight well it is better that they are on our side.The Xiongnu are a nomadic people hailing from north of China. They were nominally tributaries to the previous dynasty, yet remained unruly and insolent to the Han emperors, until Cao Cao eventually tamed their tempestuous tempers and deployed them in his own armies.
The Xiongnu live their lives in the saddle, and as such their cavalry is always prepared. It is said that cavalry is the foundation of military power; if so, the Xiongnu are truly mighty indeed!

The dense and tough undergrowth that plagues the jungles of the South is a hindrance to all those who try to penetrate into the heartlands of the Nanman. -

The unit forms into a hard-edged diamond, good for both offence and defence but limiting manoeuvrability. -

The unit spreads apart, making it more difficult for arrows to hit them. -
Wedge
The unit forms into a spear-tip, best for driving directly through enemy lines.
