The main idea for the army was to keep it simple and relatively versatile. Quarrellers form the backbone for the army, with support from Rangers and Blasting Charges. Lord for the army should be heavy into the appropriate leadership talents for best results. Idea is a mass block formation made up of defended firing lines. Shielded Warriors and Longbeards hold the flanks and rear to protect the ranged assets from direct attack. Rangers hold frontline in stealth backed by the Blasting Charge Miners which help to break-up charging formations before the Great Weapon Warriors move in to defend the back lines with the Lord. Army was made with idea of open field defense mostly for the early to mid game with relatively low upkeep, but proved surprisingly still efficient into the late game. Main issue appeared to be enemy artillery which makes the block formation less effective. Minor changes in strategy seem to compensate as well as simply swapping units to upgrades later on.
