It is an irony above all that arrows fletched by the dynasty to destroy rebels should now be turned back on them.Orders are delivered, blunt and direct, from a commander, yet promises from others carry more weight in troubled times. The bulk of any Han army is composed of conscripts, drafted to fight for their lord.
Yet when the message of the Yellow Turbans is aimed directly at the struggling populace, their loyalties may understandably waver. Though inexperienced, their defection robs the Han of soldiers and provides another string to the rebellion's increasingly-mighty bow.
