Qiang Polearms
To truly hunt with the spear is to let it become an extension of your body, in turn making you a lethal opponent in battle.They say that a branch of the Qiang people moved east into the lands of the Han many centuries ago, choosing to live independently, maintaining livestock on their own, owing no allegiance or tithes to them.
They also forge their own weapons and armour - bows and knives, armour and lances. Whilst they have been known to rise in defiance of the government, they are a transient people, and so it is not uncommon for them to also draw their weapons alongside the Han and fight in their defence.
