Javelin Spearmen
Do not be fooled by the length of those spears: they can still be thrown.The versatility of the spear makes it a vital asset to any army, despite its relative simplicity. The same weapon can be used to throw, defend or attack in melee.
Even the bulkier two-handed spear can be thrown like a javelin, although the number of such weapons an individual warrior can carry is somewhat limited.
After their initial throw, these spearmen stand ready to lead a charge, or withstand one.
