Territorial Archers
They may not be trained in the formal ways of war, but battle will teach them... or not.Most peasants are not taught the ways of war, rather they are handed the implements of battle and pointed in the direction of the enemy. It is thus fortunate that a bow, although difficult to master, is easy enough to use on a fundamental level.
Although these territorial warriors may want for skill, they have a surfeit of zeal - they may draw a clumsy bowstring, but they fire, again and again, with the fiery determination of one defending his home and his life.
