Qiang Hunters

Tribal archers who excel at skirmishing due to their accuracy, endless endurance and long polearms to counter enemy cavalry assaults.

The demands of a nomadic existence have given these Qiang hunters stamina and archery skills; their fine horn bows are made with long siyahs to increase and sustain the velocity of their shots, while their accuracy has been honed hunting animals in the wild.

If fighting enemy infantry, their leather armour may put them at a disadvantage in regards to protection, but the gou lian dao polearms they carry are long enough to be excellent at warding and counter-attacking enemy horses.

Unit Abilities

    The dense and tough undergrowth that plagues the jungles of the South is a hindrance to all those who try to penetrate into the heartlands of the Nanman.

    The unit spreads apart, making it more difficult for arrows to hit them.

    While the bow is this unit's primary weapon, it can also hold its own in melee.

    This unit is immune to fatigue, and will carry on fighting when others have succumbed to exhaustion.
