People's Warband
Merchants and craftsmen armed with looted sabres and armour, fuelled by a righteous fury against injustice.Merchants have long been branded a ‘necessary evil’ by hypocritical warlords, who themselves line their pockets by abusing their power and exploiting the peasant classes.
Though better off than the poor and starving peasants, concerned merchants and craftsmen have formed a group to fight back against tyranny.
Each carry dual sabres and armour pieces looted from the city armouries of rich warlords, and though untrained, their numbers and commitment to the cause make them effective infantry on the field.

Smoke Screen
Thick plumes of smoke obscure line of sight, making units seem temporarily invisible. -
Miasma
The dense and tough undergrowth that plagues the jungles of the South is a hindrance to all those who try to penetrate into the heartlands of the Nanman. -
Circle
The unit forms into a tight circle, presenting a defensive front from any angle. -
Loose
The unit spreads apart, making it more difficult for arrows to hit them.
