Though the fire of the Noble Rebellion is all but spent in the land, the slimmest guttering embers still burn in the hearts of these warriors. Remnants of the last noble rebellion would be usually marked for death, yet Cao Cao offered them mercy for service. Although they welcome the blade's reprieve, they show little enthusiasm for their new fight.

Scarcely armed, these fighters will break quickly – however, their long-dimmed fervour will sometimes burst forth, surprising all with their zeal and ferocity.

Unit Abilities

• Caltrops
  Simple nut husks, once trodden upon, cause extreme pain and slow movement.
• Miasma
  The dense and tough undergrowth that plagues the jungles of the South is a hindrance to all those who try to penetrate into the heartlands of the Nanman.
• Misplaced Devotion
  The Qingzhou warriors place their devotion in their new lord, Cao Cao, fighting to the bitter end.
• Loose
  The unit spreads apart, making it more difficult for arrows to hit them.

Attributes

• CHARGE REFLECTION VS. MOUNTED
  Reflects the charge damage of any mounted attacker back onto them when braced.
• HIDE IN FOREST
  Can hide in forests.
• RAIDER
  Idle soldiers will burn down nearby buildings.

Strengths & Weaknesses

• Role: anti-cavalry
  These units are strong against flanking units such as cavalry, so are best used to protect vulnerable flanks.
• Good against mounted
  This unit is trained to fight against mounted enemies.
• Unruly
  These soldiers obey only their own passions. They may charge without orders and act erratically on the battlefield!
