Bandit Marauders

The lighter the armour, the faster the warrior, the quicker the strike, the sooner the kill.

Whereas some cavalry bring a primal, instantly shattering force to the battlefield, other mounted warriors are suited to the slower burn, embroiling themselves in the melee and staying to continue inflicting casualties.

These marauders carry dual axes into battle so, whilst they get less power on the charge, their destructive capability increases dramatically once they begin hacking away at foes.

    The dense and tough undergrowth that plagues the jungles of the South is a hindrance to all those who try to penetrate into the heartlands of the Nanman.

    Idle soldiers will burn down nearby buildings.

Strengths & Weaknesses

  • Role: anti-missile
    A shielded and fast-moving unit that absorbs missile fire to charge into vulnerable missile units.
  • Mobility
    Melee cavalry use their speed to outmanoeuvre their enemies, striking at exposed flanks and vulnerable units.
  • Vulnerable to spears
    This unit's speed and mass will work against it if charging the pointy end of enemy spears!
