Hidden Axes

Zheng Jiang arms her fiercest bandits with fu axes and deploys them to charge into enemy infantry.

A group of screaming enemy soldiers charging towards you is unnerving, but when those soldiers are holding axes, it becomes terrifying. Though the heavy fu axe was once used as a tool, it has been repurposed for the battlefield - now its chief purpose is to split foes' skulls.

These warriors are considered shock-troops because of their powerful charge, which staggers enemies and leaves them vulnerable; the ferocious swing of their dual axes carve through their enemies in short time.

Unit Abilities

  • Caltrops
    Simple nut husks, once trodden upon, cause extreme pain and slow movement.
  • Smoke Screen
    Thick plumes of smoke obscure line of sight, making units seem temporarily invisible.
  • Miasma
    The dense and tough undergrowth that plagues the jungles of the South is a hindrance to all those who try to penetrate into the heartlands of the Nanman.
  • Loose
    The unit spreads apart, making it more difficult for arrows to hit them.

    Reduces nearby enemy morale. Does not stack.

  • HIDE IN FOREST
    Can hide in forests.
  • SNIPE
    Remains hidden while firing.
  • STALK
    Can move whilst hidden in any terrain.
